If there is one place that I recommend everyone should put on their bucket list, it’s France! France is a beautiful and captivating country full of incredible history, architecture, art, distinct cuisine, and culture.

If you visit France, Paris is the first city you should go to. Everyone knows or has heard about the Eiffel Tower but seeing the 300 meters tall building in person is simply unexplainable. People from all around the world gather to look at the beautiful structure; there are people singing, dancing, and playing instruments in front of the tower, making the experience even more magical. From sunset to 1 AM, the tower lights up into a golden lighting. My favorite part, though, is every evening after dusk for 5 minutes at the beginning of each hour until 1 AM, the golden lighting is sublimated by beautiful sparkles, which can be seen in the picture to the left.

The Louvre Museum is the world’s most visited museum, and a historic landmark in Paris, France. It is home to one of the best-known work of arts ever, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. The museum has many different sections: the Egyptian antiquities, Eastern antiquities, the Greek, Etruscan, and Roman department, Islamic art, sculptures, decorative arts, and paintings. The busiest area, though, is the Mona Lisa. The line to see the painting took about an hour and everyone was only allowed to take a maximum of 3 pictures to not hold up the line. The painting is also VERY small, compared to everything else in the museum!

Another great spot to visit in France is the Pont des Arts, also named the Love Lock Bridge, in Montmartre. Lovers lock their love away by engraving their names in a padlock and attaching it onto the railing of the bridge. Paris really does live up to its reputation of being the city of love!
